PASTOR JOSH MOYO
Pastor Josh Moyo is a revelatory teacher and communicator of God’s Word. His message is one of imparting the knowledge of God to foster deep, intimate and meaningful relationships between God and the believer. He is passionate about individuals living out their God given destiny. Every message he preaches and ministry he undertakes carries this as a primary focus.
Faithful Pastor
Pastor Josh has often shared that people are at the centre of his ministry. His compassion and care of individuals draws many to sit under his powerful ministry. In March 2004, Ps Josh left his congregation in Springs, Johannesburg, to fulfil what God had in store in the great nation of Australia. Upon arrival in Australia he took up the position of co-pastor of the English service of Successful Bethany Families Church, a vibrant congregation in the north of Perth, Australia. In May 2012, Ps Josh and Sherley started Destiny Empowered Christian Church (DECC) with their first meeting being a gathering at their home in Thornlie. By God’s grace, DECC continues to grow with both a local and an international presence, now with two campuses in operation, one North of the River that meeting in West Perth and the other, South of the River which meets in Gosnells. Their Vision is to see every individual LIVE OUT THEIR DESTINY.
Mentor, International Influencer and Author
Pastor Josh Moyo ministers to congregations locally and internationally and for more than 30 years, he has ministered the Word of God in several countries in the world including, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Jamaica, United States of America, Great Britain, Wales, Mauritius, Lesotho, Swaziland, Nigeria, Zambia, and has planted 8 churches in Zimbabwe, South Africa and Australia.
He is the author of the book “The Making of a Champion – the key strategies of a conqueror” which seeks to encourage the believer to uncover the champion traits found within. He has many sermons available via various mediums and platforms of communication.
He is a mentor to many, taking on the responsibility to see all God’s children live out their destiny and fulfil their calling.
He is a qualified Marriage celebrant, conducting marriage and family counselling.
He has established the Destiny Bible School in Japan which begins full operation in 2019.
Devoted Husband and Father
As a devoted husband to Sherley Moyo, Pastor Josh Moyo enjoys family life and believes they are his primary ministry.
For 25 years Mrs Sherley Moyo has partnered and served faithfully alongside her husband in ministry. She is especially passionate about Women’s Ministry, with a calling in particular to pastors’ wives. Mrs Sherley Moyo loves psalms, hymns and spiritual songs and her powerful singing voice touches and inspires all who sit under her ministry.
Pastor Josh and Sherley have successfully raised two beautiful children, Sharon and Josh Junior.
Sharon and Josh are following closely in their parents footsteps with a passion to reach out to their generation. They seek to be a voice and break down barriers of in areas concerning young people such as peer pressure and mental health issues.
Together, Pastor Josh & Sherley have birthed two pivotal ministries from the journey the Lord has led them on.
Destiny Empowered Christian Church, a ministry the co-pastor and Destiny Marriages a ministry that seeks to provide singles, couples in a relationship, engaged couples and married couples with practical tools to build strong and healthy relationships.
